We empower children with the early learning skills they need to thrive in the classroom
Learnful is a specialised tutoring and learning program in Brisbane, based in Coorparoo, designed to help children build strong foundational learning skills before Prep and throughout their early years of schooling.
Our purposefully structured 2-hour, teacher-led school readiness sessions support children aged 3–6 in developing early literacy, numeracy and school learning foundations prior to starting Prep.
Classes are intentionally kept small (maximum of 8 children) and are taught by highly experienced, bachelor-qualified Prep teachers, ensuring every child receives personalised support, explicit instruction and meaningful learning opportunities.
Our engaging, hands-on, play-based learning experiences are designed to help children feel capable, supported and excited about their learning journey.
Learnful also offers 1 hour small-group literacy tutoring (maximum of 6 children) for Prep and Year 1 students, with a strong focus on phonics, reading and early writing development.

Hi, my name is Nikki & I'm so excited to have you here!
Hi, I’m Nikki — a mum of two and a bachelor-qualified teacher with over 18 years of classroom experience.
Teaching has always been so much more than a job to me. I genuinely love watching children grow in confidence, discover they are capable, and develop a love of learning that stays with them long after they leave my classroom.
After many years teaching Prep, I began to notice the same pattern year after year. Many children were arriving at school full of potential, but without the confidence, classroom routines and foundational skills that would help them feel settled and successful from day one.
As both a teacher and a mum, I knew I wanted to change that—not only for my own children, but for as many children as I could.
That's why I created Learnful.
Learnful is a warm, small-group school readiness program where every child is known, encouraged and supported as an individual. Through engaging teacher-led learning experiences, intentionally small class sizes and highly personalised support, children develop the confidence, independence and foundational literacy and numeracy skills they need for a positive transition to school.
